Zoo

Today we went to a zoo where we got to hold a koala. It was so exciting I was about to jump out of my skin.

We also got to see crocodiles, kangaroos, wallabies, and snakes. But I liked the koala better then anything. The koala was so soft a cute. She had small eyes. She was very heavy, but I didn't mind.

We also went to a playground that was so big. It had a swimming pool, a big bouncy bubble, and a playground. We mostly stayed on the bubble and in the pool. We all had a great time!

Three Sisters

Today we went to see the Three Sisters in the Blue Mountains. They are three large rocks in a straight line. The story is that there were three sisters that were turned into stone by their father. He did this to protect them from the monster.

To get to the first sister we went down a giant stairway. We made it to the first one, but there were too many steps (900+) for us to go see the other sisters. It was hard and tiring just walking up from the first sister.

After that we went to a skywalk to go to the other side of the mountain instead of walking all the way there. When we got to the other side of the mountain, we had to pay for our tickets so we could get onto another skywalk.

This one went down into the rainforest. In the rainforest we ate our lunch. After we ate we walked to an old mine that they would get coal for fire a long time ago. Then we went to see the waterfall. It was huge!

We had a long way to walk back, but it was fun. The best part of today was when we got to have ice cream! After dinner the Hostel had an ice cream party. It was so good! I wanted all of the ice cream.
